Since its inception, the Vantage Storage Program has been administered and managed by the employees of Vantage Products Corporation (VPC). A letter dated April 1, 2022 was distributed by VPC stating that no new storage will be accepted into the pre-need storage program. On April 21, 2022 it was announced that 20/20 Custom Molded Plastics, LLC had acquired Vantage Products and the Covington, Georia facility. 20/20 Custom Molded Plastics, LLC is a manufactuer, and had no intentions of selling and distributing burial vaults. As a result, on June 6, 2022 Polyguard & Co LLC enterd into an agreement with 20/20 Custom Molded Plastics, LLC (20/20 CMP) to acquite Vantage Funeral Products. This transaction was an asset purchase with no land or buildings included. However, included in the terms of the agreement was the administration and management of the Vantage Storage Program liability.
Rather than just shipping vaults, Polyguard & Co has negoitated an agreement with 20/20 CMP to keep the storage vaults in Covington, Georgia on the condition the Vantage Storage Program will be dissolved and ALL stored vaults will be delivered to the locations where the storage certificate is on file. The owners of 20/20 CMP are looking to maximize the real estate where the Covington plant sits, and given the current use of the property, storing burial vaults, 20/20 CMP is unable to execute plans for growth. As one can imagine, 20/20 CMP is anxious to have all the burial vaults moved from it’s property, however 20/20 CMP has said they will work with Polyguard for a short time period while arrangements are made to ship the storage vaults to the selling locations. The Storage Vault management team at Polyguard & Co are currently in the process of contacting each location with vaults in the storage program. As contact is made with each location, a plan of action is impemted for locations to begin taking delivery.
